Eric Winter along with his wife Roselyn Sanchez, Winter participated in a mission to Managua, Nicaragua, during the World Journey of Smiles. On the mission, they helped the screening team process about 250 children and assisted in preparing the children emotionally and physically for their life-changing surgeries.

Operation Smile is an international children’s medical charity that heals children’s smiles, forever changing their lives.

As an international charity for children, we measure ourselves by the joy we see on all of the faces we help. At Operation Smile, we’re more than a charity. More than an NGO. We’re a mobilized force of medical professionals and caring hearts who provide safe, effective reconstructive surgery for children born with facial deformities such as cleft lip and cleft palate.

Every three minutes a child is born with a cleft — often unable to eat, speak, socialize or smile. In some places these children are shunned and rejected. And in too many cases, their parents can’t afford to give them the surgeries they need to live a normal life.

Eric Winter – The Ugly Truth

Sure everyone might be buzzing about Gerard Butler and Katherine Heigl when they talk about last week’s rom-com box office blockbuster, “The Ugly Truth,” but today we wanted to honor the guy that kept our eyes glued to the screen, Eric Winter, as this week’s Hump Day Hottie.

Eric and his pretty-boy looks certainly give Gerard a run for his money in the movie, so if you didn’t get enough of the former yet, we can’t blame you. Press play on our video below for evidence of his babeness and learn more about Eric after the jump.

Vital Stats: This 33-year-old California native has been in many movies and TV shows, so we’re pretty sure you must recognize him from one of his many roles over the years. And, he may have left you drooling, but we have some bad news — he’s taken. This, of course, is good news for his wife, “Without a Trace” star Roselyn Sanchez.

Where you might have already seen him: Eric has been in just about every popular TV show over the last few years including “Brother and Sisters,” “Pepper Dennis,” “Wildfire,” and he even got his funny on in “Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay.”

And if you were a fan of his work in “Brothers & Sisters,” so is his “Ugly Truth” co-star, Ms. Heigl herself. Of his first meeting with the “Grey’s Anatomy” star, Eric told Entertainment Tonight, “She was just like, ‘Oh my God, I’m a fan of you on the show ‘Brothers & Sisters.’ It just broke down the ice really easy. She’s been so successful with everything she’s done,” he said. “With the movie career, with ‘Grey’s’. It was a refreshing to see that. It was a very comfortable set for me.”

Why you should take notice of him now: Well, thanks to his all-around perfectness and stoicism in the now infamous vibrating panties scene in “The Ugly Truth,” we’re pretty sure that Eric is one gentleman who is destined to get only more roles. Plus, if he proved anything in the film, he looks quite good in barely anything. “I was cool with it,” he told E! about his towel scene. “In the name of good comedy and getting a good rise out of people, it was well worth doing.”
